I'm Learning the Game.

I've always heard about how much money you can save by using coupons and shopping sales. But I never took the time to figure it out. Well, I've been reading a blog by Mommy Snacks and I have been amazed how much money she saves!  So I thought I'd give it a try.  So here is what I came up with.  I went to Walgreens and...

Celestial Seasonings Tea 2 for $3 plus $1 coupon = $2

Ricola Cough Drops with coupon =$.99

Almay Mascara with rebate = FREE (Here's where it got fun.  Almay products are on sale this week buy 1 get 1 free.  So, I bought 1 got 1 free with the rebate that's 2 free products!)

With Walgreens you can submit your rebates online so I didn't even have to use a stamp!  I'm curious to see if I will get the rebate and the buy 1 get 1 free.  All the coupons I used were printed from Walgreens website.  I think I could get into this!

I plan on going back before the end of the week to get a gallon of milk for $2.99.
